I visited the pottery shop-Rozan in Nishiogikubo in Tokyo. In Nishiogikubo it takes 15 min form central part of Tokyo and there are some antique shops.The owner-大嶌文彦 has been opened the pottery shop-Rozan since 1982.
Rozan treats modern pottery artist and also antique pottery. They are not too expencive.
I visited kyoto. Kyoto is a old capital city in Japan. Ceramics fired in kyoto is known as kyo-yaki (kyoto ware). kyoto ware has history and taradition.
I went "Chawan zaka" street near Kiyomizu temple(Famous temple in kyoto). "Chawan zaka" is the street having several kyoto style ceramic and pottery shops .
In "Chawan zaka" Kouson kiln's ceramics-kyoto style ceramic (kiyomizu-ware) ware very beautiful and excellent.
Kouson kiln has been opened their shop and kiln in "Chawan zaka"
Hataman Toen＊ has special exhibition at Tableware festival at Tokyo Dome (2017).
